Past Activities: 

Club members conducted observational seat belt checks on streets near campus.

Club officers and members attended the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety Conference at Callaway Gardens.  Conference provides opportunities for networking, leadership opportunities, and education.

Co-sponsored Are You Driven? which focused on decreasing aggressive driving behaviors.

Club officers attended the BACCHUS Area 9 Conference focused on peer education training for student leaders at Florida State University.

Hosted Alcohol & Drug Awareness activities to educate students about the hazards of drinking.

Eric Krug shared his life-altering story about drinking and driving.

Sponsored Kick Butts Day to encourage smokers to kick tobacco.

Co-sponsored speaker Chris Sandy who shared his experiences with DUI and the consequences.

Brought the Save-A-Life Tour on-campus to inform students of the hazards of drinking and driving through the use of a simulated vehicle.

Hosted Alcohol Awareness Month and Red Ribbon Week activities.

Co-sponsored Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities.
